Dr. Juan Teodoro is the only periodontist in both Lee and Collier county trained in Laser Assisted New Attachment Procedure (LANAP); this is the first  and only FDA approved laser protocol to treat periodontitis. He holds both Diplomate status in the American Academy of Periodontology and the International Congress of Oral Implantologist.  Diplomates are held to a higher standard of practice and are expected to be on the cutting edge of current knowledge and competence in Periodontics. The American Board of Periodontology monitors all diplomates on a 6 year basis to ensure these requirements are maintained.
